Hi, I'm Linda Gilbert

I finished my doctoral work in the field of Instructional Technology in December 1999. My research interests involve the ways in which people use computers for high-end creative and intellectual work. I'm also interested in research methodology in general.

While completing my degree, I worked full-time at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education. I'm currently employed at the University of Georgia College of Education on several grant-funded projects. See my resume for my general work history.

I live in Athens, Georgia, with my husband, Casey Gordon, my son David, and a cat who really runs the place.

I manage the evaluation for GSTEP and Business to Teaching.

GSTEP stands for Georgia Systemic Teacher Education Project.
It involves teacher education reform across three universities and 11 school districts.

Business to Teaching is an alternative teacher preparation program,
for people who already have a degree in a content area.
